Peru

The most important vocabulary to know during your trip in Peru

In Peru, the most commonly spoken language spoken is Spanish. A few people still speak Quechua, a language that originated with the Incas, but this is slowly dying out.

The Peruvian people are easy to understand

Whereas the Spanish are known for speaking quickly and not very clearly, you will be surprised when you hear the Peruvians. In fact not only do they speak clearly, they articulate their words, so this makes it much easier to understand them. So don't worry, if you speak a little French or Spanish, you should be able to understand the basics.

A holiday in Peru is therefore a great opportunity for travellers to familiarise themselves with the Spanish language and to do that, what better than to set off with a little vocabulary to make you trip a success?
