Palawa, a dream beach for a relaxing day during a stay in Indonesia.
My suggestion:
If you wish to have a sunbed, negotiate a good price for the day otherwise a towel will suffice. Do not forget your hat or sun cream!
Summary:
When I lived in Bali, I loved spending the day at Palawa. The beach is quiet, there are not too many tourists, it is very restful and pleasant. But do not go there if you are looking for beach parties or activities galore, there are other places for that!
According to my wishes, I have the choice between an avocado and chocolate drink in the shade to read quietly or to bask in the sun on the sand with optional bathing.
The managers of cheap restaurants are lovely and very welcoming. I spent hours in discussion and meeting the entire family. Those were beautiful days that I still keep in my memory, nostalgic, since my return to France.
