This temple is at Mengwi, in the heart of a green park that is worth a visit.

My suggestion:
Think about using a guide who will be able to tell you stories about the temple in former times.
Summary:

Of all the temples that I have visited in Bali, Pura Taman Ayun is one of my favourites. It is big, quiet, harmonious, and there aren't too many tourists, so you can walk around peacefully. Like all the temples, you can't visit everything, but the walls are quite small and let you glimpse the merus (wooden or stone towers of different heights according to which person or god they are dedicated to).

A the right of the entrance is the impressive former arena, where they had cock fights. Like the temple, the neighbouring park is well looked after and I liked the fact that the temple is surrounded by a small stream, which makes irrigation easier.

When I was there it cost IDR 15,000 per person to get it.
