Everything went smoothly, even with an unexpected train delay, Andrew was able to contact guides and transport when I was unable to. We never felt alone!

Loved everything and very much appreciated the way Andrew at *** coordinated all the details. Our personal guides were profoundly informative, and our drivers were always punctual and polite. Our hotels were the best in each location. We could not of done this without Andrews logistical coordination!

We found Paris to be a wonderful city with friendly people, fantastic sites to see and so many small cafes to enjoy! Dinner at *** on the Eiffel Tower was incredible. The Versailles tour was very enjoyable. Our tour guide made the trip fun and interesting thanks to his knowledge of the history of the palace. The Seine River cruise was also fun. We had a very nice dinner and met some very nice people. The wine and cheese tasting was great. We tasted some very good cheeses and enjoyed good wine. Pierre was a wonderful host with a good sense of humor and he was very knowledgeable!
Would definitely love to return to Paris and would recommend a visit to this lovely city.
The best parts:
We had a great trip and found it to be worry free thanks to all the great arrangements that were made ahead of time. We had a good balance of free time and scheduled tours. The hotel was very nice and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Would recommend this hotel!

While we saw an overall trip of the city and more concentrated visits to key sites we did not have sufficient time in 3 full days to see Paris. We will have to have another visit.
The best parts:
Well organized and we were able to see most of the items we wanted to see.
Pickup service was excellent.
Cooking class was enjoyable and well done by the instructor.
The worst parts:
1. Confusion on Eiffel Tower visit as we did not understand clearly that we had to pickup tickets at 'tour office'.
2. Really NO need for jackets at Dinner Cruise or Moulin as most men dressed 'horribly'. We suggest just collared shirt and nice slacks especially in 43C heat.
3. We should have bought a Metro pass for our days walking.

We really loved Bordeaux and would definitely visit again! Such a beautiful city and everyone was so friendly.
We did a wine tasting in 2 châteaux and got an explanation on how the wine is made. It was really interesting and so peaceful out there. The staff in both places were lovely, and our guide was super friendly and chatty!
The local agency arranged it for us rapidly and were very attentive with getting back to us. Everything was handled professionally and we were very happy with what had been chosen. (Our hotel was really beautiful also.)

There were no problems with finding of destination. The best impressions (really so many) - view of Bonifaccio fortress, botanical excursion with Paoline along the cliffs near Bonifaccio, visit of Napoleon memorials in Ajaccio, trips to Holy Balagnia from Calvi and to Cap Corse from Bastia, two days spent in fantastic Corte and extremely interesting travel by narrow gouge Corsica Railway.
I can recommend our travel as a base for a regular Evaneous tour - starting from Bonifaccio with the main destinations Corte, Calvi and Bastia plus Porto. Ajaccio may be added in the case of interest in Napoleon sites.
The best parts:
Trip was really wonderful. Everything was of very high standart. All hotels proposed by Frenchside Travel were fine with us - excellent rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. But the best were people - guides (Paoline in Bonifaccio, Philipp and Valentina in Calvi and Bastia) with of a very deep knowledge of hystory, sightseeings, nature of Corsica, local style of life. All the time we were feeling their love to that land and their personal sharm. The owner of the Hotel in Corte is also very nice man.
The worst parts:
Trip was organised brilliantly, so there is no subject for this part of review.
Just to mention - the unusual weather this May (windy,a little cold and a little rainy).

We were visiting our family who have a vacation home in Castillon du Gard near Avignon. One of the people with us had never been to France so we wanted her to get an overview of some of the most famous places in Paris, but we only had two and a half days. Evaneos helped us chose activities and arranged our guides and tickets to make it very efficient without our having to do too much planning ourselves. We were all very pleased.
The best parts:
Everything through Evaneos was well organized and on time.
We were thankful for our drivers from the train station and to the airport.
Our guides were lovely, but our favorite was Stephanie. She was so knowledgeable and entertaining and we could hear her clearly and everything she said.
The worst parts:
There were no worst parts but our guide at the Rodin Museum had a pretty heavy accent and a soft voice. It was crowded there and we had a difficult time hearing her.

Nicola (travel agent) had exceeded our expectations. His initial suggestion of taking a high speed train from Paris to Avignon, choice of accommodations, booked activities and suggested sightseeing was above our dreams.
The best parts:
Beautiful itinerary, wonderful, hotels/greenhouses for accommodation, great organisation in terms of all activities pre-booked, all on time.
The worst parts:
Domain de Fajac la Selve was far from everything, poorly accessible. Also the barge ride from Chaumont-sur-Loire was ok, but could have been skipped.

Pierre and Johnathan were excellent and where very patient with us.
Extra points to Johnathan; the weather was bad and the driver was a little late, but Johnathan stayed with us until the driver showed up.
Doing things that need to be done because you want to, not just because it is required or expected is the hallmark of good quality and genuine customer service. Job well done.
The best parts:
Liked: the logistics of transportation and guided tours went exceptionally well.
Disliked: There was a little confusion once because of language, in finding our
vehicle after the tour. Very minor.
The worst parts:
The schedule went very well. We saw about everything that we had schedule and the guides were very helpful and informative.

Found the Evaneos website by searching online. I read some reviews and decided to investigate.
We wanted to visit France in 12 days. We stayed 4 days in Paris , 3 days in Lyon and 4 in Nice. We took a day trip to Normandy during one of our Paris days.
Loved the country and was very happy with the service and the itinerary. The Road book and vouchers were greatly appreciated.

I want to thank you, Objectif France and Evaneos for our vacation. You delivered what we asked for.
Our drivers were professional, on time and always contacted me via text at their arrival.
Our hotels were perfect. The locations were close to local landmarks so that we could walk easily from the door of the hotels. We especially enjoyed the Fourvière in Lyon. This truly is a great hotel. Probably the nicest one we have ever stayed at. Each hotel was expecting us and there was no confusion about what was included and what wasn’t.
Our tours were fantastic as well. Especially Anna with the Louvre and Versailles. She was so knowledgable and passionate about Paris and the history.
Sarah gave us a great tour in Normandy. We were moved by the Canadian war Museum and cemetery and stepping on Juno Beach was so memorable for us.
Alex gave us the tour in Lyon. We really enjoyed his history lesson and the girls really liked the side trip to the silk store where we got to see the silk making process and they even got to paint some of the pattern they were working on. Here we also sampled some of the local food and shared a bottle of local wine.
In Nice, Samuel walked us through the market where we ate so much of the local food we were stuffed!
I must say that the high speed trains are delightful to travel on and I really enjoyed that. Paris to Caen, Paris to Lyon and Marseilles to Paris.
So overall, a great trip. We found some amazing restaurants and had some great meals with great wine. There are things that I would do differently with respect to travel arrangement as I mentioned, but I feel that you did very well with the itinerary I gave you.
I am glad that you convinced us to visit Lyon and I wish we made more time there. I love that city. I rented a bike and traveled up and down the Rhône and through the peninsula and the back streets. So much history and a beautiful city. A few more days at the Fourvière would also have been nice. The pool was so perfect to cool off in after such hot days walking around.
I would definitely use your company’s services again to revisit France or for travel to other destinations. The Road Book and vouchers make everything so simple.

The worst parts:
Negatives: 1 it’s unfortunate about the Eiffel Tower tour being cancelled but i was happy that you were able to reach me to make alternate arrangements. We spent the evening walking around along the river and got some great pics of the city that night.
2 Our guide was 30 mins late for the tour in Nice. He did call me though at the time we were supposed to start the tour but it seemed that there was a mix up on the time it was supposed to start. I had my voucher that showed 9 am start. This is not really a big deal and we were not that upset. We actually had to end the tour a little early anyway because we wanted to return to the hotel to say goodbye to my friend who was travelling with us and had to leave. We all still enjoyed the tour and the food.
3 We also ran into some difficulties at Avis. They didn’t have the vehicle we were expecting and the GPS wasn’t working in the one we got. They tried to fix the problem with a portable GPS but it wasn’t working either. We wasted a couple of hours there. The vehicle we did receive was ok in the end, it just took awhile to get it. This isn’t your fault of course, it was Avis.
Any other negative aspects can only be blamed on myself. I should have tried harder to book a flight home from Nice rather than wasting a day going back to Paris. This is my fault.
Also, I would think twice about renting a car. The parking in the cities is very difficult with a larger vehicle. Even getting into and out of the car rental places was difficult. Such small streets and tight corners. It was stressful. Again, it was my idea to rent the vehicle.
Finally, we didn’t enjoy the regional train ride from Nice to Marseilles. It was very hot and over crowded and smelled terribly. Luckily we were able to get seats. Some people had to stand in the aisle for the 3 hr ride. The whole trip from Nice to Paris was a long one. Again, I should have tried more to fly home directly from Nice.

This is a very beautiful part of France, one with a wonderfully interesting history. We enjoyed the contrasts of well-cultivated fields, views stretching for miles and the rugged beauty of the Causses and were impressed (and envious) of the care with which land-and-townscapes have been preserved for centuries.
We can't say enough in thanks to our hosts, especially during a sudden illness of one of us (at Hermitage St Pierre near Nant) and of the help given by Mark and other Evaneos staff to change our itinerary. Planning with Christiana excellent, also
The best parts:
The highlights of our trip were: Toulouse - good walking city, beautiful churches, especially Les Jacobins; the locations concerned with the story of the Cathars, especially Montsegur; excellent private tours in Toulouse and Carcassonne with pleasant and knowledgable guides; pleasant accommodations at every stop with welcoming and helpful proprietors.
The worst parts:
Some difficulty in finding our accommodations, even with GPS and Michelin print-outs, especially in cities. Making town plans (maps) available would have been a tremendous help.
