It is the largest Hamar village, around 30km from Turmi, on the road to Jinka.

My suggestion:
Go there on the big market day, Saturday or on Tuesday when there is a smaller market.
Summary:

Dimeka is the best village to meet the Hamar, a people from the Omo valley. It is best to arrange to travel between Turmi and Junka on a Saturday, the big market day.

The women's ornaments made up of bracelets and pearl encrusted leather are impressive, as is their skin, spread with a red mud mask made from clay and butter and covered with scars. Some women also wear large necklaces or collars to show they are married. The market is mainly dedicated to cattle, and to common consumer goods: vegetables, cereals, etc. But you can also find some handicrafts.

A local guide is not essential but is a good source of information. He took us to the village of Bashada potters at Argude, which is not far and where you can buy authentic handicraft souvenirs.
