Around Langano Lake tourism is very developed . You will therefore find accommodation easily (hotels, but also campsites) without being caught up in the crowd as prices are quite steep and the lake very vast.
You can go canoeing, boating, jet-skiing or fishing on the lake, and you can also swim or just suntan on the beach. You can also visit the surrounding villages and eat fresh fish.
It is not possible to walk along the lakeside for long distances because of the various hotel complexes' fences which reach all the way down to the water. However, if you want to go round the lake, you only have to climb up the plateau from where you have a magnificent view of it as well as on the mountains and where you can easily go for a walk.
