San Agustín Archaeological Park is an archaeological site famous for its megalithic statues. It is located around 200 kilometres from Neiva in the department of Huila.
My suggestion
The park is quite difficult to get to (a 10-hour bus journey from Bogotá) but well worth the effort!
Whether it's misty or sunny, you'll love the unusual landscape in the Cocora Valley. The enchanting ambiance and the sheer number of wax palms, a national symbol, are impressive, to say the least!
