Cerro de la Bandera is a hill located on the heights of Cali, Colombia.

My suggestion:
The place is of no particular interest but a project for the creation of a natural park in Cerro de la Bandera is in progress.
Summary:

Cerro de la Bandera is a small green hill that overlooks the pretty metropolis of Cali, known as the city of salsa.

To enjoy a fine view of beautiful Cali, head south-west of the city towards Cerro de la Bandera. To reach the green mountain you climb the many steps, which also allows you to discover the new neighbourhoods as well as a watchtower from which you can see the entire city. There is a clearing at the top of the stairs. It is only possible to reach the top on foot.

A natural green oasis for the city, this small mountain was once a mine and has been a victim of deforestation. Fortunately, new environmental policies have been implemented and the city of Cali has planned its redevelopment as a natural park.
