Tourists often don't include this town on their itinerary when travelling through the huge state of Rajasthan. Its rich wealth of architectural heritage, however, makes Nawalgarh one of the most attractive towns in the whole of India, and it's definitely somewhere worth making a trip to see.

My suggestion

I strongly recommend spending a few days in Nawalgarh to give yourself the opportunity to discover a different side to Rajasthan, preferably staying in one of the ecolodges when here, where efforts are being made to vitalize the town and provide roles for forgotten local craftspeople.
