The village of Madhya Pradesh is renowned for temples decorated with erotic sculptures.

My suggestion

Take the time to visit the lesser known temples; they may lack erotic images, but they are just as beautiful and you'll find fewer tourists.

My suggestion

Don't miss one of the most beautiful festivals in India, the Khajuraho Dance Festival, held every year in February or March. Absolutely amazing.
