To reach Aguila Glacier, you first have to choose a cruise in Argentine and Chilean Patagonia, and you departure point will be Punta Arenas, in Chile, or Ushuaia in Argentina, depending on the city you're in.
Our stop at Aguila Glacier, on the fourth day of our cruise, marked the end of our voyage across the Beagle Channel and the discovery of the Tierra del Fuego islands. Aboard our zodiac boat, we went towards the Agostini fjord, despite the stormy waves and the frigid wind blowing on us. Our guide took us for about an hour-long walk along the coast. After a good hour's walk, we reached the edge of Aguila Glacier, so close we could even touch it! We felt so small in front of this huge block of ice. After taking a few pictures, we unfortunately returned to the zodiac because the sea was turbulent and it was getting dark. 
I still have nice memories of this trip discovering one of Agostini Fjord's most beautiful glaciers. If you get motion sickness, beware, because it isn't a smooth ride in a zodiac!
