Caleta Olla is a beautiful cover in the heart of the Darwin Range, in south Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. To explore it you have to go by boat.
You can go round Cap Horn from the Chilean village of Puerto Williams or the Argentine town that is at the end of the world: Ushuaia It takes a good ten days to go from one town to the other.
During the cruise you will see southern Patagonia's magnificent scenery appearing between immense glaciers, crystal clear water and enormous forests. If the weather conditions are good you can dock in Caleta Olla and enjoy the fresh Patagonian air. Sea lions, Magellan penguins and albatross go about their daily business taking no notice of the visitors. Here nature and wild life are very definitely king!
My best memory? A picnic in the middle of nature, next to an emerald green lake. Imperdible (not to be missed) as the Argentines say!
