I loved my safari on Chief's Island, which is in the heart of the <a href="/botswana/">Okavango Delta</a> and the<a href="/botswana/">private Moremi Game Reserve</a>. The landscape's stunning and there aren't a lot of tourists: you can really enjoy watching animals in their natural habitat.
It's also here that you'll find the greatest concentration of animals during the delta's dry season, as the water source doesn't dry out. You'll spot antelopes, zebras, giraffes, baboons, as well as predators (lions, leopards...) or black and white rhinoceros, which were re-introduced to the park in 2001.
There is, however, a price to pay for such luxury. The area's only open to guests staying at the Sanctuary Chief's Camp and the Mombo Camp; glamping it up in luxury tents next to a swimming pool and afro-chic lobby. 
You can't but enjoy a stay at Chief's Island, which is reserved for the happy few who can afford it. Nonetheless, other travellers can easily enjoy a safari in the Moremi Game Reserve or head further along the delta.
