. We had always wanted to go to Australia and New Zealand. Who wouldn't want to visit there. The scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef was a bucket list experience. Sailing by the Sydney Opera House. Hiking through the rainforest. Seeing the glowworms. Visiting the wineries and enjoying some New Zealand wines. Sitting on the verandas at the B&B's. Relaxing in the hot pools. The overnight trip on Doubtful Sound. So much to enjoy, difficult to name all of the venues. The people were the best. Everyone was so accommodating and hospitble.
The best parts:
The trip was very well organized. Instructions on where to be at what time and directions to our hotels were a big help. Our hotels and B & B's were top quality and each had something different to offer. The tour guides were all phenomenal and taught us a lot about the region.
The worst parts:
Long drives on mountainous roads (but they were beautiful). Some of the tours were not explained fully and might have opted out of them. Cancellations of tours due to weather (no one's fault)

With a 5 week vacation booked for Australia and New Zealand We started the search for someone to help with the arrangements. We wanted to see the highlights, yet not feel rushed. I discovered Evaneos/**************through internet browsing and reached out. Liz replied promptly and after a few questions regarding our preferences for activities and wishes she designed a trip with great variety. Liz worked closely with us to ensure we were happy with the recommended accommodations and tour activities while striving to keep our tours to a small group size. Emails and questions were answered promptly and we talked on the phone a few times. I felt like I was dealing with a person who was invested in creating a fantastic holiday for my husband and I that we would remember for a lifetime. Liz was personable, enthusiastic and provided high quality service. The accommodations were located at each destination in a central spot within walking distance to restaurants. She was open to arranging and booking as many, or as little activities and/or tours as we wished. The attention to detail was pleasing with all our vouchers for each activity organized by date with phone numbers noted to contact the companies if required. Liz worked during our trip to make sure things went smoothly; at one point rearranging an airport pickup due to a delayed flight and offering to rearrange accommodation if needed due to the bushfires. We had a total of 11 flights in Australia and New Zealand all booked through Evaneos. One portion of our trip was not possible due to weather and the money was refunded promptly when we returned home. Thanks to Liz and her team we had an absolutely amazing trip in Australia and New Zealand. We arrived home with memories to last a lifetime! We would use Liz and her team at Evaneos again.

We fly to Melbourne and took trips to the 12 Apostles. The sights were great, but the trip was too long. We went on an Echidna tour which was great. Sydney was beautiful. New Zealand was a lot of fun. We went fromChristchurch to Arthur’s Pass to Greymouth. We drove to Franz Joseph to Wanaka and then Queenstown.
The best parts:
We loved getting see kangaroos and koalas. Sydney, Arthur’s Pass and Queenstown were great.
The worst parts:
We didn’t like Franz Joseph and would have preferred stopping in a town somewhere a bit closer to Wanaka.

See above. Overall, it was a great trip, and we feel like we got to know and experience the best of Australia. Besides the snafu's mentioned above, all the transfers went smoothly, and all of the tours/excursions were as described. We were shocked at how long it took us to recover from jetlag, so we were glad to have had so many days in Sydney before setting out on the rest of the journey.
The best parts:
Getting to see the wildlife Uluru--we wished we had stayed 3 nights instead of 2 so we could have walked around the base of Uluru and gone to more of the presentations by the resort Festival of Lights Dinner at Uluru Rainforest excursion Great Barrier Reef snorkeling Sydney Opera House tour Riverfire dinner at Patina in Brisbane
The worst parts:
Bus/coach tour on Kangaroo Island. Would have preferred a small private tour where we could have stayed as long as we liked at varioius places. The lodging was adequate on Kangaroo Island, but because we didn't have dinner vouchers either night, the first night we were dropped in town at night alone with no where to eat (the restaurant most visitors used was full and would not accept us). Finally we found another couple in the same situation and walked with them a few blocks to another restaurant. On the 2nd night, the hotel manager drove us to a restaurant herself and picked us up later. Also, there was a problem with the airport transfer from hotel. We thought the bus company was coming for us, but they did not. Apparently, the transfer was with a private company, but we didn't know which one it was. The driver came for another passenger and left us. Then, the hotel manager called the company and found out we were supposed to have ridden with him. He had to drive back to the hotel to get us and we barely made our flight. We were not fond of the menu offerings in most restaurants, regardless of price. We were surprised to find few vegetables except potatoes. We eat mostly vegetables and some meat, so it was challenging.

We loved it all. Very well planned and everything went smoothly.
The best parts:
Too many to name but we loved Karijini and Emma Gorge.
The worst parts:
Weren't over impressed with the Pardoo roadhouse but the staff were friendly and we guess it was the only place to stay on our route.
