In the afternoon, take a short train ride on the Cremaillere railway to the village of Tri Mat.

After breakfast, begin a 4-hour drive south to Nam Cat Tien National Park (185,000 acres of evergreen rainforest).
Arrival at 12:00 and greetings from the park staff who will take you to your lodge resort via electric car.

You start your day early, heading to Bau Sau ('Crocodile Lake') by jeep.
