Locals in Uzbekistan
We work with small local businesses rather than internationally-run providers

    Best parts:
Variety of scenery and cultures. Visiting parts off the beaten track
    Worst parts:
Could have used a bit more information from my driver as to what would happen each day; a game plan. After a long first morning drive leading into mid afternoon I was getting hungry. I knew he wanted to cover a lot of ground that day and I'm pretty flexible on eating time. My driver (though good and thorough) had said nothing about eating (or anything else) so I started eating some of my snack food. Just as I was starting to feel satisfied (around 2.30) he pulled into a place and said' we stop here for lunch.! My driver was very organised and efficient, but his limited English meant we went long times without much information. I'm not talkative and appreciated his quiet most of the time, but some idea of what's coming up would have been an improvement. Just a comment, not a complaint.

We travelled from the dusty, congested and hot capital city of Bishkek then south through 3 or 4 mountain ranges. Mountains varied from dramatic sharp alpine peaks and valleys with lots of rivers and streams of meltwater to lower rolling dry hills and mountains. We ended up in the flat agriculturally rich lowlands abutting Uzbekistan.See more

Regarding your driver, this is really important for your agent as feedback so that she can make sure the driver is more informative of the schedule in the future if she will work with him again. Thank you for letting us know this. I do hope that we will see you again on the Evaneos platform for your next trip! :) Kind regards, RachelSee more
