Transfer from Ataturk airport to your boutique hotel in the historical quarter of Istanbul.
In the morning visit the Egyptian bazaar, also called the Spice market, with your private guide. Then board a private yacht for a 2 hours cruise on the Bosphorus. From your yacht, you will admire the Topkapi Palace, the “Maiden’s Tower”, the palace of Dolmabahçe, the Ciragan Palace, the Yildiz park, the Ortakoy baroque mosque and the bridge suspended between two continents.
You will disembark in the north of the Bosphorus in Sariyer where your driver will be waiting for you. After lunch, you will drive along the European bank of the Bosphorus to Ortakoy, a lively neighbourhood with artists displaying their craft and an overall Bohemian feel. The Bosphorus in all its splendour. Overnight stay.
Private walking tour: a short walk will take you first to the pearl of Byzance, Aghia Sophia, a 6th century masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, built as a Christian church, converted to a mosque in 1453, and turned into a museum in the middle of the 20th century.
Walk around the Hippodrome, the heart of Constantinople’s political and sporting life. See also the Mosque of Sultan Ahmet I, called the Blue Mosque because of its interior tiles, with its six minarets and a great cascade of domes. We will go down to the Basilica Cistern (or Sunken Palace) with its hundreds of columns and serene atmosphere. After lunch, we continue to the Topkapi Palace, which was the official and primary residence in the city of the Ottoman Sultans from 1465 to 1853 to admire its displays of Ottoman treasures and jewellery. You’ll also see the Sultans’ harem. Return to the hotel by foot.

Transfer to the aiport and fly to Cappadocia. Transfer to your hotel. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, private vehicle and guide to visit the famous open air museum of Goreme, a complex of Byzantine cave churches with colourful frescoes. We will admire the fairy chimneys of Pasabag with their multiple “hats”. At the end of the day, visit the traditional pottery workshops of the village Avanos.
At dawn, a one and a half hour hot air ballon flight. Admire at sunrise the extraordinary moonlike landscapes of Cappadocia. A mind-blowing experience you’ll never forget.
After breakfast, you'll explore an underground city with your private driver and guide, a unique feature of this area where the local inhabitants hid during times of danger.
