Our trip to Spain, which is so rich in history, culture, architecture and beauty, was made even more exceptional through a personalized custom tour. All tour guides and drivers were personable, helpful, professional and open to sharing about their lives and their culture with us. It was an enriching experience! We were able to enjoy a wide range of private tours to suit our interests and tastes… boutique wineries, hiking, visiting UNESCO sites... I can’t begin to name all that we did. It was decadent and wonderful in every aspect!
The best parts:
Customization and Peace of Mind: we didn’t have to worry about a thing or think through anything. Everything was arranged to fulfill our desires and needs in advance with particular attention to detail, and the support of the local agency through the provided cell phone and instant messaging was exceptional. We could relax and know that we had 24/7 support for us at a moment’s need.
The worst parts:
None - we were completely satisfied!

All aspects of the trip were most enjoyable and memorable. When a storm suddenly descended on Avila our guide made the excellent decision to retire to a beautiful restaurant where we had coffee and she gave us very interesting and useful information . We will recommend your company to other friends.
The best parts:
Driver and guides for our tour around Madrid and the trip to Segovia and Avila were all excellent. They were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. All pickups were on time and the cars were immaculate with plenty of water supplied. An excellent experience.
The worst parts:
There was nothing that we didn't like.

we Enjoyed the M****** hotel thoroughly and having Agnes and Beatriz as guides. The cooking school experience was really fun.
The best parts:
Hotel suggestion was great Tour with Agnes was wonderful - very informative and fun. Enjoyed the museum and she made the morning really fun. Tour with Beatriz was really good - enjoyed the winery experience and she had a great personality Cooking school with Carlos was great - fun and informative - that. Ousptn have been better.
The worst parts:
The evening tapas experience was not very fun - we were in a group that had three children. It felt like a family outing - not what we wanted. And the places we went, except for the brewery, felt like very average in terms of quality of food. The guide, Alvaro, was wonderful and enthusiastic but the evening was not great. The sailing trip - it was a boat with a motor. Not what was advertised. That was very disappointing. The magic night at Batllo House was overpriced - it was basically a tour with a glass of cheap cava at the end of the tour.

We did enjoy having Luis as our driver. He was expert in every way, always being attentive to our needs/desires, as well as offering commentary on the areas we drove through, and answering our questions as best he could. Because we are foodies and love wine, getting around to a number of wine regions was a fabulous experience.
The best parts:
In Madrid we really loved walking through the massive Parque de Retiro---Madrid's version of NYC Central Park. On leaving Madrid, we liked visiting Bodega Ismael Arroyo winery, and then Abadia Returerta winery. We loved the town of Segovia with its ancient Roman acqueducts. Laticia was an excellent tour guide there, and Luis was our expert driver for more than one week. Because wine touring was our main goal, visiting Ribera del Duero and Riojo were highlights. For the last three days of our Spain tour, food/wine expert guide Sean O'Rourke brought wine country to life for us. The countryside of Ribiera Sacra was breathtaking, and Sean arranged a number of great winery visits, as well as cultural highlights, like seeing where the lamprey eels are caught, and then trying out that delicacy in a local restaurant. Albarino wine country was so interesting with its vines being elevated so as to avoid the moisture/humidity. Galicia wine country was amazing. Our two days in Barcelona were excellent, and dining at Tragaluz, as recommended by Sean, was a highlight as well. On our own, we took a wine/cava tour in Barcelona, visiting Torres, Jean Leon, and Freixenet producers. La Sartre, 3 Michelin star restaurant in Barcelona, was pricey, but quite an excellent dining experience.
The worst parts:
Though trying to economize a bit, the 3 days in Madrid might have been improved a little had we been given more suggestions as to places to go, restaurant suggestions, etc. We were able to come up with such on our own, but perhaps a list of suggestions would have been nice.
Unbelievable sights

We did a lot of research and came up with our destinations and Sean put together a great itinerary for us. By far thehighlights were Sevilla. We enjoyed the tour of the Old Jewish quarter and the cathedral as well as the tapas tour. We enjoyed the drive to Malaga and our stop at Joaquin Fernandez winery and cooking class. It was a very enjoyable day. The last thing that really stood out was the El Caminito Del Ray! For those going to Granada, The Alhambra is a must!
The best parts:
Our trip was amazing! It was detailed and organized. All of our guides were great and had a wealth of knowledge.
The worst parts:
There were no bad parts except having to depart home 😢

My husband and I traveled with my parents to Northern Spain. We started our trip in Santiago de Compostela and ended 10 days later in San Sebastian. We had a wonderful driver as well as incredible tour guides that were very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed staying at the Paradors that are so rich in history. We also enjoyed the amazing views!
The best parts:
We loved that our trip to Northern Spain was customized for us and we had local guides that were experts in their areas.
The worst parts:
There was nothing about our trip that we didn't like!
