Arrive at O.R. Tambo international airport in Johannesburg where you will be met by a local representative. Your representative will take you to the Emperors Palace Shuttle Terminal, located on the Western side of the International arrivals Terminal where you will board the shuttle which will take you to your hotel.
Your rental car gets delivered to the hotel this morning. Depart and follow the N3 towards the Natal Midlands (Recommended departure time is 08:30). Arrive in the afternoon, in time for lunch (included)at 12:30 followed by a half day Battlefields Tour (included) starting at 14:00.

This morning, depart for Hluhluwe Imfolozi National Park (conservation fees included for duration of stay). Make sure you arrive at your accommodation in time for the afternoon game drive.
Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park is the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Southern Africa with excellent birding and home to the Big 5. The park is best known for saving the white rhino from extinction through Operation Rhino which saved the few remaining white rhino from the brink of extinction.
Today, guests have the opportunity to enjoy both a morning as well as and afternoon game drive (included). During midday, guests can relax around the pool or request a guided bush walk (not included).
This morning, depart for Swaziland, a small, landlocked monarchy, known for its wilderness reserves and festivals, showcasing traditional Swazi culture. Drive north towards Pongola, from where you take the N2 to Piet Retief and then onto Mahamba Border Post. Once in Swaziland, continue north towards Manzini.
En-route to your accommodation, stop over at Swazi Candles. The Candle Factory was established in 1982 and the vibrant, music filled workshop invites guests to interact with the artisans as they work their magic! Arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon.
Today guests can explore Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary (entrance fees included), Swaziland’s pioneer conservation area, and a shining example of what is possible if passion, vision and action fuse. Mlilwane offers an array of activities and adventures in the picturesque Ezulwini Valley.
This morning, exit Swaziland at the Oshoek border and make your way to Nelspruit, the capital of South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province. On the R40, between Barberton and Nelspruit, you will find the turnoff to the Jane Goodall Institute - Chimp SA. This activity can be pre-booked at an extra charge.
Once in Nelspruit, pay a visit to the Lowveld National Botanical Gardens. The character of the Garden is shaped by the two main rivers that cut across it, namely the Crocodile and Nels Rivers. Before these two rivers converge in the Garden, they form spectacular waterfalls which can be viewed at the Cascades and the Nels viewpoints. The mystical baobab tree is famous for its unique shape and medicinal properties. There are two restaurants on-site. From here, drive to your accommodation near Hazyview where you will overnight.
Today, enjoy a tour of the Panorama Route before heading to your lodge in Timbavati Game Reserve (part of the Greater Kruger National Park) in the afternoon.
Possible places to visit would be the Blyde River Canyonis South Africa’s only true canyon where well positioned vantage points allow a view of the 33km long gorge with its varied and lush vegetation, God’s Window which offers a panoramic view of the Lowveld and Bourke’s Luck Potholescan. Spectacular waterfalls abound in the area, some as high as 92m cascading over sheer cliffs and into rock pools or rivers below. Ensure you arrive at your accommodation before 4pm to be in time for the afternoon game drive (included).

Timbavati is well known for its excellent game viewing and if you are lucky you may even spot one of the famous white lions of the Timbavati. Other than the Big 5 there are great opportunities to see all sorts of wildlife, both big and small, and your field guide is an expert on the area’s flora and fauna.
After a morning game viewing activity (included) and breakfast, leave for Johannesburg.
Return rental car at O.R Tambo international airport before boarding for your flight.
