Day 1: ​Welcome To Diego Suarez

You will be welcomed at the airport by a specialized in the region who will guide you to the hotel, show you the splendid bay of Diego and its Sugar Loaf, Bazary kely market, churches, the Foch place, the Marine hotel, the Jacob mosque, the Joffre place to observe Cape Diego, the old town and the busy harbor. Arriving at the hotel, a welcome drink will be offered, and the services of the hotel will be presented to you: massage room, restaurant, library, games, bowling alley, and bungalows. You can relax in the swimming pool to fully enjoy your arrival in paradise!

Day 2: ​The 3 Bays of Ramena

Along the coastal road, the Sugar Loaf, the endemic baobabs and the French Mountain Massif, you will discover the Bay of Sakalava and its fun boarders, the seductive Pigeons Bay, and Dunes Bay. After swimming in the Indian Ocean, you will continue to Cape Miné, where you will find old cannons inherited from the colonial era, then the lighthouse with a breathtaking view of Diego Suarez pass. Then you will pass by the beach of the former Orangea military camp before arriving in Ramena, a traditional fishing village. You will succumb to the temptation of a last swim in Ramena before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: ​Sea Safari On The Emerald Sea

Picked up at your hotel according to the tide schedule, drive to Ramena (30 minutes drive), a small fishing village located 16 kilometers from Diego, for 1h30 sailing cruise before arriving on the Emerald Sea, a lagoon with crystal clear water, multicolored coral reefs and multicolored fishes and white sandy beaches. It is an all day excursion, ideal for snorkeling, sun bathing, fishing, and diving. A delicious seafood meal will be prepared by the local fishermen. Farniente, then return to Ramena at the end of the day to reach the comfort of your hotel. 

Day 4: ​Walking Between Baobabs And Mangroves

Breakfast at the hotel. From Jasmine port, you will embark for 1 hour of crossing. In the distance, you will see French Mountain overhanging its military camp of the beginning of the 20th century. From the sea, you will also have an overview of the baobab forest. Beginning of the trekking on the beach called "cocoa point" for the visit of the Baobabs, then climb up the plateau through the savannah and the local plantations. You will discover the varied fauna and flora, endemic baobabs, mangroves, ficus (megapolis), some species of birds such as egrets, raptors, herons, etc... Then, you will continue to the village of Cape Diego (by boat), visit the village, the military camp and its cave. After lunch, you will return to Jasmine port in Diego.

Day 5: ​Amber Mountain National Park

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel to the Amber Mountain National Park. This park is a volcanic and mountainous region whose altitude is between 850 and 1 475 meters (Peak of the Mountain of Amber), 40 kms from Diego. Created in 1958, it aims to preserve flora and fauna which are exceptional in the region of Diego, considered rightly as a "biological treasure". This mountain contains a magnificent protected rainforest, preserved from all human impact, where rich and complex nature thrives. This tour will allow you to appreciate different forms of vegetation and different species of lemurs, birds, chameleons ... You will also discover beautiful waterfalls and lakes, as well as beautiful views on the extreme north of the island. An unforgettable discovery in the freshness of the rainforest!

Day 6: ​Stroll In The Heart Of Red Tsingy

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for 65 kms of track to discover the red Tsingy. Result of the erosion which has carved the canyons since the Jurassic era, these unique colorful and phantasmagoric forms is ephemeral formations shaped by the wind and the rain. A must of nature, similar to the landscape of Mars! You will have lunch on the site, and then will continue to the South through small villages known for their sapphires. A stop will give you an overview of the work done to treat this stone. You arrive at the site of Iharana bush camp, one of the most beautiful eco-lodge in the north of Madagascar, not far from Ambilobe in the Ankarana reserve. 

Day 7: Ankarana Gray Tsingy National Park

After breakfast, you leave the camp for the visit of Gray Tsingy, one of the most beautiful sites of the area located in few meters from Iharana Bush Camp. The access to the massif is done after crossing a lake on board a traditional canoe. Along the path to the Belvedere, you will admire the “pachypodiums” with amazing forms and lemurscoronatus. The view is magnificent on the Tsingy massif. Nature lovers will be generously served!


Day 8: Ankify And The Ambanja Plantations

Breakfast and early morning departure to Ambanja, the economic lung of the region. You will go along the Sambirano river, whose excesses and overflows enrich the land to irrigate an exceptional cocoa, but also the essences of flowers that compose the good perfumes. Then, you will cross spice plantations, fields of flowers and fragrant plots of plants before visiting the distilleries and farm in Millot. You have lunch at "Mado", then reach the Baobab hotel, a bungalow nestled by the sea.

Day 9: The “Bons Pères Waterfall” And The Village Of Ambobaka

You will go for an immersion in the valley of the Sambirano to observe the organization of the life of the villagers and to admire the green landscapes. Arriving at the village of Ambobaka, known for being a center of traditional medicine, you will meet the line of healers who practice ancestral medicine using plants and different techniques of massages. You visit the medicinal plant garden and then you have a canoe trip along the Ramena River. Picnic and swimming under the falls and in the basins of the “Bons Pères Waterfall” before finding the comfort of your bungalow on the beach.

Day 10: ​Transfer To Nosy Komba Island

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the port of Ankify for 45 minutes crossing in the direction of Nosy Komba, the largest island of the Nosy Be archipelago. Nosy Komba offers a set of emotions worthy of Robinson. With a seaside bungalow, between the wild beaches and the mountain paths, you will appreciate this stage to relax in the middle of your stay. From farniente in the shade of coconut palms to strolls between land and sea, your journey begins here through the islands of the North West, where an exotic flora and fauna border, which make the archipelago of Nosy Be a wild jewel among the most preserved on earth.

Day 11: Free Day On Nosy Komba

From your charming bungalow on stilts, hidden in a beautiful tropical garden where a Macaco lemur squad resides, you will appreciate the mangrove and granite wooden hanging paths of Nosy Komba, allowing access to bungalows, restaurants, Beach, and in the village nearby. Nestled in lush vegetation, the hotel is suspended on a mountainside, overlooking the sea, thus offering one of the most beautiful views of Madagascar. Nearby, a typical village with Malagasycharm represents a wonderful site, calm and preserved which permit you to relax and rest are before continuing your adventure in the archipelago of Nosy Be.

Day 12: Stopover At Nosy Tanikely

You will leave for a full day of cruise with a first stop in the large village of Nosy Komba to visit the Lemurs Park and the fishing village and its traditional canoes. In the late morning, you carry on to Nosy Tanikely. Distribution of fins, mask and snorkel and diving in a protected underwater natural reserve. A real life-size aquarium to contemplate the spectacle of corals, anemones, myriads of multicolored fishes, crustaceans, grouper, moray eels and sea turtles.You will have seafood as lunch. Then, you will go round the island, and stroll to the lighthouse to discover the bats and lemurs perched in the endemic trees. Lizards, chameleons and butterflies will accompany you along this trail to enchant your visit. Arrival in Nosy Be at the end of the day.

Day 13: Sacred Lakes and Sea Horse Bath

After breakfast you will set out on horseback on the wild paths of Nosy Be for mainland walk. After the briefing, climbing on the ancient volcano craters where the great sacred lakes are nested. You will cross the teak and mango forests before visiting a traditional village of zebu breeders. The route gradually goes out to the seaside, where the most adventurous can gallop to stretch the horses on the beach. Plan a hat, swimsuit and sunscreen as you will not be able to resist a sea bath on horseback to refresh yourself in total conviviality before returning to the hotel.

Day 14: ​Nosy Sakatia, The Orchids’ Island

akatia is the most authentic island of Nosy Be. Accompanied by a local guide, you will discover the interior of the island on an hour and a half stroll: old “flamboyants”, coffee, pepper, vanilla, traveler's trees, pineapple, cashew nut, mango, jackfruit, guava, eucalyptus, raphia, orchids, medicinal plants, etc... You will end the morning on a private beach: a real place of tranquility. Lunch will take place in the shade of the coconut trees. Kayaks and beach games will be at your disposal as well as a space for massage and relaxation.

Day 15: 360 ° Around The Island Of Nosy Be

This light car tour will start with the local sugar refinery where the sugar cane is transformed into red sugar and local rhum. Then, you will visit the covered market, the colonial buildings, the port with the dhows and finish in the South to meet the great sacred banians. Then, you go ahead to north to lunch in the water on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You will visit the bush school in the village of Ankalampo and finish the day at Mont Passot, with a 360 ° sunset over the island: an unbeatable moment culminating on the top of your itinerary.

Day 16: Camping On The Paradise Of Nosy Iranja

Nosy Iranja is ranked the 6th most beautiful island in the world. Situated at 1h30 by Nosy Be, it is made up of two islands linked by a fine white sand bank. It is a paradise island with blue-turquoise colors, white paradise and green nature.On the way,you will discover the pristine coast of the big island and its miles of wild beaches. Migrating whales and whalessharks are observed here. Then, you have seafood lunch under the coconut trees, thenyou visit the lighthouse and the village of the great Iranja. Aperitif and dinner at sunset.

Day 17: End Of The Stay In Nosy Be

Your stay is coming to its end. You will enjoy these last moments of freedom before returning with your driver to the airport.
