Overnight at Ibis Styles Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Today you have an excursion at Kiambethu tea farm. Pick up at 09:30am to arrive at 11am and over a cup of tea or coffee the history of the farm and process of making tea is informally explained, followed by an opportunity to see tea in the field. Then take a walk in the indigenous forest with our resident Kenyan guide who will identify the plants and explain how they are traditionally used. Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the veranda with sweeping views across the tea fields to the Ngong Hills. Enjoy your three-course buffet lunch from our set menu prepared with vegetables from the garden and desserts are topped with cream from our herd of Channel Island cows.
After breakfast, board your safari van and drive to The Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and is a sanctuary for Chimpanzees. It is also home to lions, elephants, leopard, zebras, giraffes and more. Arrive on time for lunch at Sweet waters Camp and in the afternoon have a game drive at the conservancy.
Later drive to Aberdare area for dinner and overnight at the Rhino Watch safari lodge.
After breakfast drive to the nearby Aberdare National Park where you will pick a guide and start your hike through the picturesque forest. Ravines and open moorland cover the Park. It provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks, among many others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker.
Drive through the rift valley to Lake Naivasha which is hugged by grassy banks and shingled with cacti and sand olive trees, the Rift Valley's highest lake extends like a vast, sunlit sea. Enjoy your boat ride and a walk around the Crescent Island among the giraffes and zebra. Don't forget to look out for hippos.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp (full board)
Spend your day at Hell's gate. You can catch up with the adventure in this park by cycling or walking on foot, hike the gorge or climbing Fischer's Tower. You can cycle to your heart's content past grazing zebras, giraffes, impalas and buffaloes, spot rock hyraxes as they clamber up inclines and see everything else that this place has to offer.
Return to Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp for overnight (full board)
After breakfast drive further into the rift valley to Maasai Mara National Reserve which is an area of preserved savannah wilderness which is an eco-system of the Serengeti in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. Lunch at your camp before embarking on afternoon game drive.
Spend you day game viewing in this vast game reserve either for the morning, afternoon, or full day. As you enjoy the game you will also have a chance to visit a Masai Manyatta to experience their way of life. Experience in their traditional activities such as bead making, milking the cows and lighting fire. A Masai elder will tell you all about their traditions.
Overnight at Azure Mara Camp (full board)
After breakfast, board your safari van and enjoy a drive back to Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your onward flight.
