Day 1: Welcome to Jordan!

Transfer from Amman Queen Alia international airport to the hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Highlights of Amman

Start you day by having a traditional breakfast out of the hotel; begin your tour by visiting the Citadel and the Roman Theater. Then proceed for a walking tour in Rainbow Street in Jabal Amman 1st Circle. When Amman was a small town this gentle neighborhood was the preserve of the elite. The streets are lined with many fine old villas dating from the 1920s and 1930s. Continue to Al Weibdeh for a walking tour to visit the main highlights and several local Arab art galleries (optional): Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, Makan Arts Space, Darat Al Funun, and Dar El Anda. Continue to the National Museum Park and the Paris Circle. Lunch at Amman local restaurant to taste the Jordanian Cuisine. Continue to Ajloun Lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: To Petra, via Jerash

After breakfast depart to visit the Medieval Castle of Ajlun built by the Muslims during the 12th Century in the time of Saladin for defensive purposes during the crusaders. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and green north fields from its unique towers. There are two theories for the name of Ajlun either (iron) as there was iron material in the area or because it was built on top of a monastery after the priest name. Continue to visit Jerash, The most complete and well preserved city of the Roman Empire. This is one of the Decapolis cities to the north of Amman. During the Roman Empire it was often called “Pompoeii of the East”, which indicates the great example of Roman urbanization. A journey through time walking its streets, theaters, temples and places among the great colonnade, the Arc de Triumph, the Oval Plaza and the temples of Zeus and Artemis. Proceed to Petra via Wadi Moujib to Petra for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Petra - a Wonder of the World

After breakfast, depart to visit the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A city carved in stone more than 2000 years ago to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. First, you will walk the “siq”, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers, which is the main entrance to the city. At the end, you will see the treasury "Khazneh" - which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the "Khazneh" is breath-taking. Other monuments you will visit are the Theatre, and the Royal Tombs. Proceed to Petra Kitchen (Live Cooking). Overnight hotel.

Day 5: Wadi Rum - Jeep Exploration & Camping

After breakfast meet the Bedouins and depart to visit Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon where the movie Lawrence of Arabia was filmed for a classic 2 hours visit of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 local jeeps. Wadi Rum is a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose amongst the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish, and golden colors. Dinner and overnight at Wadi Rum camp.

Day 6: Dana Art Craft

Breakfast and transfer to Dana. Proceed for craft experience with the local village women. Free time to explore nature, optional walking trails. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Dana Nature Reserve & Feynan Eco Lodge

Breakfast and proceed to Feynan Lodge. Free time and overnight with dinner.

Day 8: Mount Nebo: "The tomb of Moses"

After breakfast depart to to Mount Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses, from whose summit a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley. Continue to Madaba the "City of Mosaics" where you will visit the church ofSaint George which houses the map of the Holy Land made in 571 D. C. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: To the Dead Sea!

After breakfast head for the Dead Sea to relax at leisure and unwind before returning home. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast and transfer from Dead Sea to Amman international airport to coincide with the departure flight.
