Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi

Meet at Tbilisi airport and transfer to your 4-star hotel in the city for the night. 


Day 2: Tblisi: The Old and New

Explore the ancient and modern sides of Tblisis on a day of sightseeing including the golden treasury of the History Museum. Enjoy traditional Georgian cuisine for dinner before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Medieval Mtskheta

Visit the UNESCO listed town of Mtskheta, formerly the national capital of Georgia. Lose yourself in its history and religious architecture, particularly Svetiskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari monastery. Then follow the Military Highway to the old fortress in Ananuri. After dinner in Kazbegi, spend the night at your 4* hotel. 


Day 4: Stalin Museum and Uplistsikhe Cave Town

Delve into history with a visit to the Stalin Museum in Gori, birthplace of one of the 20th Century's most influential figures. Then tour the nearby cave complex of Uplistsikhe, dating as far back as the Iron Ages. Transfer to a 3* hotel in Akhaltsikhe for the night.


Day 5: Interesting Historical Places in Georgia

Spend the day touring the Rabat Fortress, Vardzia Cave Town and Sapara Monastery before a traditional Georgian meal close to your 3* hotel in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 6: Kutaisi's UNESCO Sites

Visit the cathedrals of Gelati and Bagrati on your way to Batumi. Tonight, dinner is either at a local restaurant or the 5-star hotel where you'll be staying.

Day 7: A day on the Beach, Under the Sun

Free day in Batumi to enjoy the beach (summer months) and wonder around the town to explore some more of it. Overnight stays at a hotel in Batumi.

Day 8: Batumi Old Town

Explore the Old Town of Batumi and the Gonio fortress on a city tour. Drive to Tblisi and retreat to your 4* hotel. Breakfast included

Day 9: Kakheti: The Wine Province

Take a full day-tour to the wine province of Kakheti, visiting the local winery of Tsinandali in the fortified 18th Century town of Sighnaghi.

Return to Tblisi via the Gombori pass and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10: Departure

Early morning transfer from your accommodation to the airport and return home.
