A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Gulf of Porto is famous for a Genovese tower that overlooks the town.

My suggestion:
If you find yourself in the Gulf of Porto, don't expect a mind-blowing site, but rather a relaxing town, full of Corsican charm.
Summary:

The Gulf of Porto is a charming litte port. The town may not boast many activities, but it's still a wonderful place to stroll around. Munching on an ice cream at the end of the day, whilst being watched by a gecko...an image that sums up the contentment I felt when in the Gulf of Porto.

Its star attraction is a Genovese tower. Its perched on rock that overlooks the port. Sitting at 45m altitude, it watches over Porto. I recommend you visit the harbour at Porto during the evening, so you can see the tower lit up. It's a wonderful sight!

You could also extend your time in the Gulf of Porto by visiting its UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Calanches de Piana, the Scandola Reserve as well as Girolata.
