Breakfast at the hotel. Then visit the plateau Guizèh. Visit the site of the pyramids: Kheops, the biggest of the three, Khephren, and Mykérinos much smaller than its two sisters, keeping at its base, its original coating. On its sides stands the impressive sphinx with the head of a man (57 m long) whose role was to defend the entrance of the tomb against the pillagers. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Then departure for the visit of the capital of the Ancient Egyptian Empire, Memphis to the south of Cairo. The city was founded by King Menes around 3000 BC and placed under the protection of the god Ptah, the patron of the Artisans. Then visit of the pyramid of Sakkara was built around -2700 for the pharaoh Djoser by the architect Imhotep. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private car to Alexandria (200km). Stop en route to visit a Coptic Monastery in Wadi El Natroun. Continuation to Alexandria. Upon arrival, fish lunch. Visit Fort Quait Bay. Visit of the Catacombs which make up the largest Roman funerary site of Egypt and the most important archaeological site of Alexandria. Promenade in the Montazah Palace Garden, which was the seaside resort of the Royal family. Return to Cairo. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the visit of the citadel of Saladin which is a great fortress, built between 1176 and 1183 on the heights of the current capital of Egypt, Cairo. It was built by Saladin, the founder of the Ayyubid dynasty. Lunch in townThe we visit the famous National Museum founded in 1857 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette Pasha and transferred in 1902 to the actual building. Lunch in town. Then transfer to Cairo airport and flight to Luxor (1h flight). Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Breakfast at the hotel, departure for the visit of the Ramesseum which is the funerary temple of Ramses II. Then visit the Medinet Habu site, the temple of millions of years of Ramses III. Lunch in a restaurant. Then visit the Luxor Museum, inaugurated in 1975, on the cornice along the Nile, presents collections highlighted in a sober way. The objects are relatively few but of high quality, in particular, a magnificent green deschist statue of the pharaoh Thoutmôsis III. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel, departure from Luxor to Denderah (74.2 km) visit the temple dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Lunch on the way, then continue to Abydos (94.3 km) to discover the city of Osiris. Visit the temple of Abydos built by Seti I, with its seven chapels. Back Luxor. Dinner and overnight in Luxor Day 4: Luxor Breakfast, then departure for the visit of Deir El Medina (Village of artisans) with the temple which was an offering of Maat to Hathor. Then visit the Valley of the Nobles. Lunch then visit of Deir Bahari, the funeral temple of the Rein Hatshepsout as well as the temple of Sethi 1st in Gournah. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
After breakfast, departure to visit the Valley of the Kings where 62 Pharaohs rest (visit 3 tombs). Then visit valley of the Queens where 75 Queens rest (visit 2 tombs). Transfer to your boat registration and embarkation. Lunch on board. Later on visit the Luxor temple. Dinner and first overnight on board.
Breakfast on board. Sailing to Edfu. Visit the Edfu temple dedicated to god Horus “god with falcon head”, where two magnificent statues in black granite guard its entry. It is certainly the best conserved temple in the country. Return on board and sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board, cruise continues. Then departure to visit Kom Ombo. This temple of the Ptolemaic dynasty, is dedicated to both gods Haroeris and Sobek. After the visit, embarkation and continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner on board.
(Optional excursion): Early in the morning, to the Abu Simbel temples by private minibus. Visit the temple built by Ramses II. Then visit the second temple, called Hathour, dedicated to his wife Queen Nefertari, Return on board. Breakfast on board, free day at leisure on board. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight on board.
Breakfast on board, departure to visit the Philae temple dedicated to Isis. Then visit the Aswan High-Dam, whose construction was appointed to Soviet engineers in 1960 and which is the main source of electricity for the country. And visit the unfinished obelik. Transfert to Aswan airport, flight to Cairo (1h30min flight). Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast, Departure to visit Old Cairo: Coptic Museum, the Hanging Church dating from the 4th century, the Abu Serga Chruch and the Amr Mosque. Lunch in town. Then we go a relaxing Felucca ride on the Nile is a traditional wooden sailing boat used in protected waters of the Red Sea and eastern Mediterranean, in Egypt and Sudan (particularly along the Nile). Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Breakfast at the hotel, departure for the visit of the mosque Ibn Touloun and the famous mosque of el Azhar. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Then visit the palace of Mohamed Ali, reflecting the settings and lifestyle of the late 19th- and early 20th-century Egyptian royal prince and heir apparent. The residence compound, composed of five separate and distinctively styled buildings, is surrounded by Persians gardens. We finaly go for little promenade in historical bazar of Khan El Khalili. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport. Flight back to your destination.
