Favourites from the agency
  • The unique water-filled volcano crater, Quilotoa, is one of our absolute favourite places in Ecuador!
  • Of all the amazing birdlife in the Galapagos Islands, the colourful blue footed boobies are the ones that amaze us the most.
  • The amazing sea-landscapes of El Cajas National Park is simply too unique to describe, you have to experience it in person to believe it.
  • The playful sea lions on the Galapagos are a sight to see! You can snorkel or scuba dive with them around the islands.

Our agency has been certified with the European 'Tour Cert' label, which ensures that all of our business is conducted in a sustainable way. This means that we have to follow guidelines when it comes to our travellers, the trips we organise, and even internally within our office. Here are some examples of the daily work we do to promote sustainable practices: when we have larger groups travelling, we provide them with re-usable water bottles to reduce the use of plastic. On the Galapagos Islands, we collaborate with a small group of fishermen on San Cristobal, rather than working with internationally-run providers. In our office, we use environmentally-friendly products such as organic soap, and we run a mandatory training session to understand and apply the recycling system in the office.

    Best parts:
Most of it was completely fantastic. All of the guides were excellent. The service in the hotels was lovely. The first hotel was on a different league to the others though. How everything had been planned precisely and the personal service from one place to the next was also excellent. Emelie has been amazing from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier.
    Worst parts:
If I had known I could have caught a plane part way to the rainforest I would have paid extra and done that instead. Unfortunately the day I spent waiting for the bus it was raining so much so I realised my water proof jacket was not 100% water proof. Although I think I probably only notIced that as every other part of the trip was jam packed with things to do. Also the fact it was a Sunday so the shops were closed.
    Summary:
It was pretty spectacular. The way I was looked after I felt like royalty. All of the guides were more than knowledgeable. Ecuador was stunning from day one. Ecuador was stunning from day one. The rainforest was a truly unique experience. The Galápagos was definitely the highlight of the trip. The only regret I have is not being able to stay longer. I’m definitely coming back and I will be using Evaneos again!See more

    Best parts:
We enjoyed the different animals we saw as well as the two different island's topography. Unique. Always surprises from an animal stepping under your feet or a turtle swimming beneath you.
    Worst parts:
Disliked all the boat types but in particular the speedboats. I guess, there was no choice though.

Everyone from the woman who picked us up in the truck to the information guides. In particular our hero was Diego on the boat where we snorkeled in Santa Cruz. He was not only knowledgeable but he dove down to the bottom of the water when my granddaughter lost her Go Pro camera! She was hysterical and he swam over and dove way down and found it!!!! He was her hero and ours!! We are very appreciative!! In Quito, another guide, Diego was terrific. He related so well with our granddaughter and gave us so much information throughout the whole day! He made the city fabulous for us. In addition, I must compliment the L*** P*** Hotel. Their service and attention was great. Bravo to all those especially Vicky Espinosa, who helped find and send my granddaughter's special stuffed animal to her as we left it there the morning we left! The hotels were ok, unfortunately the power went out the morning we left the A***** in Isabella so that was a bit difficult. I do not think Tom, the owner (or manager )was particularly friendly. Whenever I asked for towels he knew we were three of us and begrudgingly spared two towels. It seemed like an imposition for him. Otherwise S**** and A***** were clean and locations were very good. The accommodations for three in one room were excellent. Emelie was great in the planning of our limited time in the Galapagos and I would recommend her to my friends to plan their trips going forward. Sometimes on the Internet you are not so lucky, but we were!See more
