Zagreb is the city of green parks, lovely fountains, blooming flowers and artisans performing on every street corner. Explore the historical core of Zagreb city on your own. Visit the Cathedral, the medieval Stone gate, St. Mark’s church, the Upper town, Flower market square, Dolac Fruit & Grocery Market, the Central Square, and Tkalčićeva Street with its numerous charming cafés and restaurants. Enjoy the city and its galleries, or its exhibitions such as the one a kind; Museum of Broken Relationships.
From Zagreb there is a picturesque scenic road along the Adriatic coast to reach the interior side of Croatia. In just one hour, the scenery changes rapidly from a Continental climate and architecture to mountain huts & farmer's villages. Beautiful lakes listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites cascade into spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy the exceptional beauty of these lakes and waterfalls, and the pure mountain air on a walking tour with your guide around the park, before relaxing in your Hotel accommodation. (BB)
On the way to Zadar, stop for a canoe safari adventure on Zrmanja river – a characteristic karstic stream – with its numerous waterfalls, cascades and rapids, it is a perfect river for this type of sport. During the summer period, it gets calm and peaceful and it carries you smoothly through spectacular sceneries. (BB)
Nothing says adventure quite like the great outdoors. Head out from Zadar to explore one of Croatia’s hiking paradises: Paklenica National Park. With over 130 km of hiking trails, picture perfect moments will be around every corner of your hiking adventure in the park. After spending the day exploring the national park with your guide, return to Zadar and relax for the rest of the day. (BB)
Head to Split, a town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meet with your guide to explore the town. Split was founded when the palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian was built in 305 AD. The Cathedral of St. Domnios, the patron saint of Split, is in the actual mausoleum of Emperor Diocletian, and its sumptuous interior is a gathering place for many religious visitors and tourists. Various cultural monuments are located inside and outside the Diocletian’s Palace walls, such as the Renaissance Prokurative Square, and several noble families’ palaces, churches, galleries and museums. Head across the azure sea by speedboat to visit some of the most treasured spots on the Adriatic! Firstly, you will enjoy a dazzling show of natural beauty at Blue Cave, whose bright blue sea color is created by the sun peeking through an opening on the roof and reflected by the sandy surface below. Next stop – hidden Stiniva cove on Vis Island. Take in the cove’s wonders and enjoy swimming in the turquoise water of one of the most beautiful Croatian beaches. Continue to Hvar & where you will have enough free time to walk around before your return to Split in the evening. (BB)
Head south to reach your final destination & one of Croatia’s most beautiful cities – Dubrovnik! Explore the city with the local guide and visit its main street, Stradun, the city gates and old harbor, steep & narrow cobblestone streets, churches, squares & town palaces. It’s time to put your arms to the test on a 3-hour sea kayak expedition in Dubrovnik! Enjoy the salty air, the beautiful waters and don’t forget to catch the sunset later. We recommend a cable car ride in the evening to mountain Srđ where you can enjoy the spectacular views over the town and the rest of the island.
Departure day. Perhaps grab a coffee and a pastry before you drop your trusty Rental car off at Dubrovnik airport, ready for your return to home.
