The high season in Corsica is from June to September. However, spring is also a good time to visit Corsica. The weather is very pleasant and there are a lot fewer tourists.

Airline tickets

You can get to Corsica by boat or by plane. By boat, the prices vary according to the company, and the port from which you leave. The old SNCM is now called Maritima Ferries. Or you can take Corsica Ferry. If you are going in high season then you need to book well in advance to be sure of having a place on the boat or in a plane.

Time difference

The time in Corsica is one hour ahead of the UK.

Language

The official language is French, but Corsican is also spoken on the island.
