Start your day visit of the fairy-tale like Preah Borom Reajea Veaing, the Royal Palace and Preah Vihear Preah Kéo Morakot, also known as the Silver Pagoda with its pure silver tiled paved floor and the Revered and Sacred Emerald Buddha image. Then, admire the thousand-year old artifacts from the pre-Angkor and Angkor periods at the National Museum, one of the richest museums in the region in term of ancient sculptures, and relive the Glorious Age of the Khmer Empire through the contemplation of these artifacts. After your lunch break, continue to visit of Wat Phnom, - the City landmark -, a man-made hill and be told by your accompanying guide of the Legend of Dame Daun Penh whom the capital City took its name from! Fancy a stroll and some shopping at another City landmark, Phsar Thmey, also known as the Central Market for a funny way to “shop, shop, shop…, until you drop”? There are in fact a lot to be done in this vibrant city, and your guide will be most happy to make you discover Krong Chatomuk, the former name of Phnom Penh!
In the late afternoon, take a boat trip on the Chatomuk River for a sunset cruise and enjoy the candle light dinner on board. Return to hotel by Remorque Tuk Tuk. Overnight at Villa Langka.
Breakfast at hotel. Your road trip starting from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap (about 314 kms and 06h00 road journey time) will take you through the provincial capital City of Kompong Thom. On the way, enjoy a short stop at Skun to discover a local culinary “delicatessen” for those adventurous enough to venture into new tastes: the “Deep-fried Spiders”! Lunch on own account.
After a brief stop at Skun, carry onward to Siem Reap with another short visit of the famous Naga Bridge, a testimony to the engineering hability of the Ancient Angkorian Bridge builders, on this “Royal Trail” built by the Great Khmer Kings, linking Angkor to Wat Phu in Southern Laos and to the Champa Kingdom in present Central Viet Nam! Then, embark on a traditional wooden boat for a mini-cruise to immerse yourself in the way of life by the floating villages on the Great Tonlé Sap Lake (Kampong Kleang), and where traditional fishing techniques are still being used. Continue to visit Ta Prohm which is one of the most beautiful and famous temples in the area, as it has been (almost) untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Your exploration continues in the afternoon with the visit of the famous Angkor Wat which five towers with a golden rosé color, became the emblem of all the successive regimes of Cambodia.
Enjoy a traditional Angkor Gondola cruise on the moat of Angkor Thom complex; it is a superb opportunities to view the lush forest lining along the moat. Dinner at local restaurant with the traditional dance performance. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Cooking class at Monyroath Homestay . Transfer to homestay, all participants will be learning how to prepare traditional and delicious Khmer dishes under the guidance of homestay owner. After a brief introduction, the participants will be taken to a local market tour with the homestay owner, and he will explain about the Cambodian vegetables, herbs, spices and other ingredients. After the tour you will take part in creating the arts of Khmer Cuisine. Then after finishing the cooking, enjoy you meal with your own work! Lunch is included at homestay.
Afternoon visit of Banteay Srei, also known as the “Citadel of Women” will gradually reveal to you, its mysteries with its delicate and intricate carvings. The fine details present in every carved corner of this “Jewel in the Forest” will be a real enchantment to your eyes! On the way back, stop in a village for a demonstration of the palm juice harvest for making palm sugar (from October to April, harvest season). Visit of a pagoda and refreshment in a Khmer house for a tasting fresh coconut juice. Then, learn of the Legend of the “Sweet Cucumber King” who built Banteay Samré masterly restored to almost its heyday and where you will find very few visitors, and do enjoy its romantic atmosphere second to no other temple in the area! Arrive in Sihanouk Ville, private transfer to port of Sihanouk Ville and then departure by speed boat (not private) to Koh Rong (approx. 45 mn to 1 hour depending on the weather condition of the day). When you arrive at boat pier on Koh Rong, your hotel on island will welcome and pick you up with a sign board name. Meals on own account. Overnight at hotel.
