We spent time in Phemom Penh, 2 nights in Battambang and 2 in Siem Reap. 2 nights in Chaing Mai and 2 in Bangkok.
The best parts:
All the planned activities in Cambodia helped us to understand the culture and history. The ************* Hotel was awesome. Guides were great. English was rough. All need to work on it!
The worst parts:
Drive to Batanbang was brutal do to road construction. I’d suggest a different route between Siem Reap and Phenom Penh. Took 9 hours. The trip via plane to Chaing Mai wasn’t worth it. The ride to elephants was 2 hours in an open back truck with benched on either side. Totally unsafe for highway driving. It also wasn’t clear to bring swimsuits. Very primitive. Lunch wasn’t good. Lots of flies on food. Emeline didn’t inform us we were being transferred to a different agency in Thailand. We had no contact info nor did she inform the guide we were arriving from Cambodia with a stop in Bangkok so guide was at domestic vs international terminal

We loved the complete introduction to Vietnam and to Cambodian history and culture, the hosted lunches, the quality of the tour guides, meeting the local people. We were young adults during the time of the Vietnam war. I felt skipping the tunnels and the killing fields did not deprive us of appreciating the conduct of the war and the killing in Cambodia. We were able to get glimpses because of the guided trip, and the background given by guides and host families about their families' experiences. Especially the Museum in Saigon was poignant. Suggest adding tour to stilt houses on large lake in Cambodia. We went independently on a tour of this and this was great.
The best parts:
We loved it all except the bike ride in the Mekong Delta. Due to a mismatch with deteriorated trail, narrow, with motorcycles competing for space and our biking ability.
The worst parts:
The bike trip

We really enjoyed this trip. We came to Cambodia to see Angkor War but fell in love with the country and the people. The people we met are so gentle and polite. The food was fantastic. There were excellent local restaurants around the hotel. We visited many temples and enjoyed them all and we learned a great deal about the history of Cambodia, ancient and recent.
The best parts:
Our 5 day trip in the Siem Reap area was amazing! Our guide, Sinath, knew exactly when and how long we should stay at the many temples we visited. He gave us just the right amount of information. We also enjoyed the Khmer traditional show and the Phare Circus. Our last stop was at APOPO to learn about the amazing work being done to clear landmines. Our hotel, Hanuman Alaya Villa, was wonderful.
The worst parts:
The bird watching and ox cart ride in Chreav community was disappointing. It wasn't the right time of the year to see birds so we saw few. The ox cart ride was very uncomfortable and too long. Instead of seeing how the people in the community really live, we got a lecture.

Everyone’ in my group really enjoyed Cambodia. The guides made sure we got great pictures. As the leader of my small group I could not been happier with every part of the tour. I can not say enough about our two guides. They were great.
The best parts:
Both guides were terrific! The tours could not have been better! We loved the hotels. We were very pleased with every aspect of our tour.
The worst parts:
Not a thing. Every part of the tour was great!

We had a fantastic time, and got to see almost everything we had wanted to, it was exhausting at times (we wish we had added few more spare days), but we had packed a lot in 3 weeks. In retrospect we wish we had added few other things as well, though you can never have enough! Everything was very well organised, and we only encountered small problems along the way.
The best parts:
Everything run very smoothly, last minute changes were accommodated, we had amazing time and saw a lot of what we wanted to see.
The worst parts:
On couple of occasions the local tour guide had a different itinerary to what we were given - and even when we asked we couldn't amend it. In Hanoi it was made even worse that even though a lot of things were planned for our Monday tour - only to find out a lot of places are closed on a Monday - it should have been checked beforehand and we should have been made aware. The guide in Hanoi was awful.

I loved the jungle-clad ruins of the many temples, the sunrise and sunset at Koh Rong island and the great people and food of Cambodia! Everything was very well organized and the tour guides and drivers were very helpful. I enjoyed very much the stay at HanumanAlaya Villa hotel and lunch at Sala Kdei Khmer House

The worst parts:
the only thing that I didn't like much was the hotel in Sihanouk Ville and the city itsef and the bamboo train trip that I think it's a bit too touristic and not very interesting.
