Your day beings with an historical rail journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Enjoy breathtaking views, including the cane fields of Cairns to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda. On arrival in Kuranda, there is limited free time before boarding Skyrail. Relax & enjoy the world's most beautiful rainforest experience, stopping enroute to explore the two stations, including boardwalks & the interpretive centre.
After Skyrail our coach will transfer you to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures - the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland. Take a cruise on the lagoon cruise through the wetlands - the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife, including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries.

Travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point it is only a matter of minutes before the specter of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. You will see the rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. You then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background.
Explore Kata Tjuta National Park and the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the sun’s morning glow as the desert comes alive. We make our way to the western side of Kata Tjuta where you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy a gourmet picnic breakfast. Take a stroll between these mighty conglomerate rock walls as your guide explains how the environment and the geology has evolved over millions of years. Your guide will return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

This is a small group ecotour with a naturalist guide. You’ll get quality time to learn about wildlife and enjoy the wide open spaces of Australia. Get close to kangaroos, koalas and abundant birdlife – in the wild!! Our special Koala Research Project ensures that we often have multiple sightings of these delightful creatures in the wild. A delicious bush lunch is included. Spend the morning in the famous grasslands and around the billabongs of our Open-range Sanctuary in the company of hundreds of wild Kangaroos, dozens of Emus and many species of birds. In the afternoon, walk amongst the gum trees in a National Park and see wild Koalas.
